Ukrainian-born American actress and model Milla Jovovich is an entertainment industry phenomenon. In addition to starring in films such as The Fifth Element and Resident Evil, Jovovich is a revered fashion icon and designer, and has also made a name for herself as a gifted vocalist and musician. She can next be seen starring in the fact-based thriller The Fourth Kind and the John Curran-directed crime drama, Stone.

Milla Jovovich and family were photographed for the Fall/Winter 2008 issue of Italian magazine, Muse.

Milla Jovovich stars as Dr. Abigail “Abbey” Tyler in Olatunde Osunsanmi’s fact-based alien encounter-oriented thriller about a series of mysterious disappearances in Nome, Alaska. Out on DVD March 16 2010!

On August 22 2009, Milla Jovovich married longtime fiancé, Resident Evil writer-director Paul W.S. Anderson. The couple met on the set of the 2002 film; their first child, daughter Ever Gabo Anderson, was born November 3 2007. Milla Fan warmly congratulates the happy couple!

Things continue to be quiet with Milla, but I do have some Resident Evil film-related news for you today. Starting off with… Wired Blogs reports that Sony Pictures is releasing a special Collector’s Edition DVD box set with Resident Evil and Resident Evil: Apocalypse, called the Double Feature Resurrected Edition. The box set will contain entirely new special features, including a “bridging scene” narrated by Milla herself, connecting the two prequels to Resident Evil: Extinction. The box set will also contain a free ticket to see the upcoming final instalment, in theaters September 21 2007.    Is where the boxset is now, $32.99

   I own it from Ebay, which was about $40.00

   But the new one will have the free ticket, so that’ll be cool. I’m paying for my ticket though. Because I’m no buying another boxset for a ticket,
