I was scanning the web for more Milla material from the 2007 San Diego Comic-Con when I came upon an interview she gave to MoviesOnline.ca at the event. The chat transcript is rather bundled and ridden with grammar/spelling bloopers, but upon being asked of any other upcoming work, she mentioned Verhoeven’s The Winter Queen/Azazel, which she had to postpone, and then this:

Well I have this film I was going to do called Berhoven which I should be shooting right now but I had to cancel a film this year so they will be moving it called the Winter Queen based on a Russian novel. So hopefully if he has the time and everything goes as planned we will do that next spring maybe early summer. So for the moment I might do a small part for Wim Wenders again he has a film he is working on he wrote a part for me pregnant into it.

This is the first time I’m hearing about this, but in case it’s true I did an IMDb search on Wenders (with whom Milla worked on The Million Dollar Hotel in 2000), and the Wenders project Milla mentioned could be The Palermo Shooting, a drama written and directed by Wenders currently in pre-production, with filming expected to begin September-October 2007. This is mere speculation on my part, though.

Two Comic Con interviews with Milla at MoviesOnline.ca and About.com!
