Jovovich-Hawk designs for Target Spring ‘08!

I have a bunch of Milla fashion news today, all based on the LA Times The Envelope, which has a lot of interesting things to report. Starting off with…

… Jovovich-Hawk, which is reportedly designing a Spring 2008 low-price collection for Target alongside other famed designers, such as Stella McCartney and Proenza Schouler. The designs will be regionally distributed - e.g. the McCartney designs will be available at Target Australia. :) Milla will reportedly be filming a TV advert for the collection in Los Angeles this winter, which will premiere at the February ‘08 New York Fashion Week. Here’s what Milla had to say on the project:

“Our Target line will have all our classic pieces: smock dresses, tunics, minis, all vintage-inspired, great prints. We took the things that sold the best for us but we’re doing it on a bigger scale. To be able to do it with a big company that can afford to do it for a good price so that real girls can afford it. That’s the reason we were interested.”

Furthermore, the article mentions a photoshoot Milla has recently done (pregnant - that’s the impression I got, at any rate) for Vogue Japan. I have no idea which issue the photoshoot is for, but if anyone has access to Japanese Vogue, do be on the lookout for a Milla photo spread (and if you can scan it for us, do get in touch with us!). :) (Continue reading…)

Milla featured in October 2007 issue of FHM!

Launch of Milla Fan ‘Resident Evil: Extinction’ Special!

I promised I would deliver this weekend, and deliver I have. For the past month I’ve been working on a Milla Fan Resident Evil: Extinction Special Feature to celebrate the September 21 release of the final instalment in the trilogy, and here it is at last - a Resident Evil: Extinction mini site, dedicated to Milla’s portrayal of Alice in the film trilogy. The feature includes:

150 x ‘Married with Children’ episode 4.06 captures!

I have a surprise treat for you today! I just uploaded around 150 screen captures of Milla as French exchange student Yvette in the popular American sitcom Married with Children, a show on which Milla guest starred in episode 4.06 “Fair Exchange” in 1989. Please note that the captures are Milla Fan exclusive, I’d appreciate it if they weren’t reposted. Thanks! :) Enjoy the caps.

‘Extinction’ soundtrack and world premiere location!

I have a handful of Resident Evil: Extinction news tidits for you today, starting off with the location of the world premiere of the film, which is - you guessed it, Las Vegas. :) ShockTillYouDrop.com reports that the premiere will take place at the new Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino on September 20 (not 21!) - if you are able to make your way there and snap a few pictures of the lovely Milla, do get in touch.

Furthermore, the Resident Evil: Extinction official soundtrack will be released on September 18, 2007, and it can be pre-ordered at e.g. Amazon.com for $19 - no word on the OST track list yet, but an Extinction-inspired music video can be found at the official site - “My World” by Emigrate. Needless to say it isn’t classical music.

Marie Claire Spain July 2007 scans and 23 new icons!

What would I do without you guys, my lovely contributors. :) Today, I can present you with eight hi-res scans of Milla in the July 2007 issue of the Spanish Marie Claire, courtesy of the fabulous Dale - the photoshoot featured in the issue is brand new and absolutely gorgeous! *_* I have really looked forward to seeing quality scans from this issue - thanks Dale! If anyone can translate the interview for us, do get in touch! :)

Furthermore, the lovely Steffy of Second-Walk.com sent in 23 beautiful livejournal icons of Milla, all of which can now be found on the icon page. Thanks, Steffy! :D More media updates coming up!
