Sony Pictures have at last launched the full version of the official site for the upcoming Resident Evil: Extinction – and it’s pretty awesome, too. In addition to sweet, new flash graphics, the site features cast and crew bios, film synopsis, a photo gallery, all three film trailers, wallpapers, screensavers, buddy icons, videos, with some features still coming soon. Also, if you look closely, you’ll notice that some of the footage used on the site (as well as in e.g. the music video) is new.

Also, slap me, but I forgot to tell you about the Red Band trailer that can be found on the official site (thanks to Dale for the heads-up!). It’s another version of the theatrical trailer, containing new footage from the film that cannot be found elsewhere (e.g. the dumping of Alice clones and a number of fight scenes). If you can take the gore, I’d definitely recommend watching it! However, due to the nature of the trailer, access to it is limited, and thus it’s worth to put in these details rather than your own when trying to watch the trailer: (Continue reading…)

Gosh, it feels good to have something to update with even if there are no actual news to report. :) Yesterday, the ever lovely Liz sent in a gorgeous old-esque MQ photoshoot of Milla, which is completely new to me at least (where does all this new Milla footage come from? :D Not that I’m complaining!), and four photos have been added to the gallery. Click on the below preview to see them. Thanks, Liz! :)

Once again, thanks to the fabulous Dale I can present you with brand new Milla media. :) As I mentioned earlier, Milla and designer-friend Carmen Hawk were featured in the March 2007 issue of BlackBook, and I’ve just added 5 HQ scans from the issue to the gallery. The interview is Jovovich-Hawk orientated, and definitely worth a read imo (especially if you’re not that familiar with Milla’s designer work).

Furthermore, Dale sent in a new HQ L’Oreal “High Intensity Pigments” advert, which at least I hadn’t seen before. Click on the below preview for the new pictures, and many thanks again to Dale for the scans! Ooh, and look forward to that Resident Evil: Extinction Special this weekend – I daresay I’ll be done by then. ;)

Well, news on Milla have been scarce this week, but that’s alright – because the ever awesome Mycah of Megan Fox Source has sent in 22 schmexylicious livejournal icons of Milla, all of which have been added to the icon page – it’s growing rather large now, so I might be transforming it into an archive of sorts during the revamp. :) Furthermore, the other day I found two hi-res versions of the new Photoshoot #001 outtakes I posted about earlier thanks to HQParadise.

Also, before I conclude this post, I would like to ask you guys for a teensy (?) favor. :) I recently discovered that Milla and Carmen Hawk were featured in the March 2007 issue of BlackBook, but I missed it in stores and can’t afford to buy it at present, and was curious if anyone would be kind enough to be willing to obtain this issue for us and/or scan it for us? The cover features Pamela Anderson, and you can preview it at e.g. eBay.com. If any of you are able to do this for me, I would love to hear from you! Thank you! :)

Just a small update today, since things have been a little quiet with both Milla and Resident Evil: Extinction in the past few days. The exclusive Resident Evil: Extinction clip I reported of earlier is now online as expected at NBC.com. Unfortunately, the clip doesn’t feature Milla or Alice, but it’s nevertheless worth a watch for fans of the film franchise. The clip is 2,5 minutes long and features a brief intro by co-star Ali Larter, and the infected crows-scene introduced in the theatrical trailer of the film. Click here to see it!

I also came upon an older photoshoot of Milla the other day, of which five MQs have been added to the gallery. The photoshoot was a whole new discovery for me at least, so I thought it was worth a mention. ;) Discovering new photos of vintage Milla is always a pleasure.

My computer is literally so hot you could bake eggs on it, and it’s throwing fit after fit, but – anyway. :) The ever lovely Liz sent in eight quality scans of the Resident Evil: Extinction feature in the latest issue of Rocket (issue 4/2007, i.e. August-September 2007) – the pictures are not new to frequent Milla Fan visitors, but the magazine does contain three great interviews with Milla and co-stars Ali Larter and Oded Fehr, which are definitely worth a read, if you don’t mind being a tad spoiled. ;) Thanks, Liz! :)

Alright, here’s today’s news roundup. The people at JoBlo.com have posted a good and interesting interview with Milla on the set of Resident Evil: Extinction in Mexico – it’s quite good, but it also contains spoilers. ;) Also, Sony has launched the Resident Evil: Extinction Convoy Game at the film’s official website. The game has an age requirement of 18.

Also, fans of Milla’s music will be pleased to hear that, according to a number of blogs (e.g. Billboard), the Puscifer album titled “V is for Vagina” is due out October 30 2007. No word as to which song on the album Milla has contributed to, though.

And finally, a reminder to Resident Evil: Extinction fans that NBC will be airing an exclusive 30-second clip of the film during Heroes this Monday, August 13, (i.e. tomorrow) at 9-10 PM ET! Following the end of the Heroes episode, you can log on to NBC.com for a “revealing” 2,5-minute clip of the film.
