Well, if this isn’t worth an update, I don’t know what is. :D The wonderful Dale has once again alerted me to new Resident Evil: Extinction media, and I just added hi-res versions of 12 14 existing promotional stills (and a poster) in the gallery and 39 brand new HQ stills of Milla as Alice in the film! You can find all the stills (including the non-Alice ones) here, but beware, some if it may be spoiler-y and even a tad gory. Click here for the Milla/Alice ones at our gallery.

Also, a new international poster for the film has surfaced at ShockTilYouDrop.com, a preview for which you can see above – click on it for the full version at our gallery. Personally, out of the three posters I have seen for the film, I definitely like this one the best. :) (Continue reading…)

As there isn’t any noteworthy news on Milla today, I thought I would bring you guys up-to-date with what is going on at Milla Fan. :) The revamp is underway, but I have put it on hold until I have finished the upcoming Resident Evil: Extinction Special, which is a little something I have been working on for two, three weeks now. Once the feature is finished (hopefully by next weekend, if not this one), I will resume revamping the site. A new design is already coming up, so don’t go away for too long! ;)

Anyways, some time back the lovely Liz sent in four quality scans of Milla’s L’Oreal ads over the years, and I’ve finally gotten around to add them to the gallery. Thanks, Liz! :) Click on the below preview for the ads.

The ever lovely Dale alerted me today to a brand new behind the scenes-video of the upcoming Resident Evil: Extinction, in which our Milla is the leading lady as Alice. Fear Net have posted a brand new 2,5-minute video in which Milla and co-stars Oded Fehr, Ashanti Douglas and Ali Larter discuss the film. The clip also contains some new footage from the film as well as production footage – it’s also relatively spoiler-free, so it should be “safe” for everyone to watch. ;)

A number of online publications were recently invited to the set of Resident Evil: Extinction in Mexico, and blog coverage is slowly surfacing online. So far I’ve found three blogs discussing their on set visits, but beware – some of the material can be very spoiler-y. An extract from IGN.com (my personal favorite of the blog coverages):

It was fun to see a happy-go-lucky Jovovich acting silly between takes, sometimes to the chagrin of the by-the-book Mulcahy. Jovovich embraced her role as the shoot’s de facto cheerleader. “I think that when I’m happy, definitely the rest of the crew’s happy, so I like to try to be up and motivating. Kind of keeps the morale up,” she said. “It’s been a hard move from Mexicali to here, so everyone’s kind of exhausted. Just trying to keep it light and nice on set.”

[...]Fehr was equally enthusiastic about the film. “I’m a lot more excited about this one than I was on the last in the sense that I just think this is going to be a better movie than the last one,” the actor explained. “I enjoyed doing the last one, but when I read the script and coming into Mexicali where we shot the dunes and all the rest of it, and seeing it, seeing stills of what the movie will look like. The feel of what the movie will look like. It’s beautiful. I think heat, desert, sand, all these earthy colors are very adventure-like. They give a different dynamic to a movie.”

As some of you may have noticed, I have worked a lot on the gallery of late, updating albums with new as well as better quality images. I might make a post about that later, but today I have revamped the appearance section of the gallery (though I still have a lot more LQ pictures to replace) and changed a minor setup-related thing or two. I also added some photoshoot outtake gems to the gallery today – some new additions + another HQ sent in by the lovely Dale! :) These are quite rare, though, so please don’t repost. Thanks.

Update: All affiliate requests I’ve received so far have at last been processed, and all the new affiliates have been added. Yay! ;)

I’ve just finished adding 494 screen captures of Milla as the eccentric Eloise in Wim Wenders’ The Million Dollar Hotel (2000), as promised. :) The film co-stars Mel Gibson, Jeremy Davies, Peter Stormare and Jimmy Smits, and Milla’s portrayal of Eloise is definitely one of her more interesting and unique silver screen performances – personally, I think she portrayed Eloise’s different and somewhat deranged sense of reality with brilliance. Click on the below preview for the caps, the gallery is now up to over 15,000 Milla photos!
