As I reported a few months back, Milla has confirmed in a number of video interviews that she will indeed be making an appearance in an upcoming Wim Wenders project, with whom she worked in The Million Dollar Hotel (2000). According to an IESB.net interview with Milla, filming began a few days ago. From LA Times:
She’s taking October off, she said, but not before one more film shoot. Wim Wenders wrote a part for her [pregnant] in his latest film. It is as yet untitled, but the story line is based on Jovovich’s relationship with photographer Peter Lindbergh, with whom she has worked since she was a 13-year-old fashion model.
“Peter and I grew up together,” she said. Still, she wants to make sure the pregnancy does not become a selling point of the movie. “I’m not keen on having my picture taken in profile, holding my belly. It’s just, my personal life, it doesn’t have anything to do with my career. I feel uncomfortable using my life as a photo op.”
Just as I thought, this film seems to be the upcoming drama The Palermo Shooting, for which shooting has evidently already begun, and according to Wikipedia.org she will be playing herself in the film. Check the film’s IMDb page for details!
