News on Milla is scarce at present, so I thought I would take this time to shamelessly plug my new fan site dedicated to the Israeli-born American actress Natalie Portman, whom you’ll know from film such as The Professional, Where The Heart Is, V for Vendetta, the Star Wars prequel trilogy, Goya’s Ghosts, Garden State, as well as for her Oscar-nominated performance in Mike Nichols’ award-winning drama film Closer. I’ve just put up a temporary version of Portman Source, my fan site dedicated to this gifted actress – I expect to launch the full version in the Winter of 2008. Please do have a peek at what’s to come this winter if you have the time. Thank you!

PS3 reports that Sony Screen Gems is teaming up with Capcom to produce the first all-digital Resident Evil film. Titled Biohazard: Degeneration, the film is slated for a 2008 release.

More notably, the producers of the film are promising a brand new storyline for the film, which means they will not be continuing on the Alice-story of the previous Resident Evil films. This in turn, evidently means, Milla will not be making any sort of appearance in the film (not even voice work, unless Alice makes a cameo appearance, but I personally find this unlikely). You can read the official announcement at the Japanese Capcom website.

The question is, is this the much discussed potential new Resident Evil film or will there still be another one based on Ali Larter‘s character Claire Redfield?

Not much news on Milla today. The revamp is almost complete, I expect to be able to launch the new version sometime next week. :) Meanwhile, the ever lovely Liz sent in a scan from the October 2007 issue of Glamour US, in which Jovovich-Hawk was featured in a brief one-page feature.

Former models Jovovich and Hawk believe in clothes that make a statement without looking costumey. “As models, we often wore things that were over-the-top at the expense of being flattering,” says Jovovich. “But our clothes make the woman look her best.” And they deliver, especially with loose-fit dresses that are full of prettifying details. “We’re inspired by everything,” says Hawk, who counts her daughter Ava among her muses. “As a result, our aesthetic is always changing.” Let’s hope that Jovovich-Hawk’s perfect little dresses don’t.

Milla has posted a new message on her official site at MillaJ.com discussing her pregnancy days, food and weight gain. The message also came with a few pictures of Milla in her own home, showcasing the transformation her body has undergone during her pregnancy.

Apparently, it is likely that Milla will be giving birth to her baby girl before her due date of November 4th! From MillaJ.com:

so just went to the doctor today and he said that it could be any day now! my due date is nov 4th, but i think my daughter has other ideas! lol! up until 2 weeks ago she had been a breach baby since about aug. which is pretty rare as babies move around so much normally, doing somersaults until they get too big to change positions so drastically. well, she decided that she really liked her spatial location and literally stayed that way for over 2 months! lol! i can see that she is already a very determined little thing! and she knows what she wants! so to avoid a caesarian, i had to go to the hospital and have a “cephalic version” done, which is a fancy way of saying that the doctors manually turned her thru the external manipulation of my belly. to say the least, it was one of the less pleasant things a person needs to go thru. but thank goodness, the version was a great success and she has gotten accustomed to her new position beautifully.

Naturally, I’ll keep you posted, and congratulations again to Milla and Paul! It must be an exciting time for them both! :D

More screen captures! I’ve just added 111 screen caps of Milla as the young and naive Mildred Harris in Richard Attenborough’s biographical drama Chaplin (1992), co-starring Robert Downey Jr., Anthony Hopkins, Dan Aykroyd, Marisa Tomei, Diane Lane and Kevin Kline. Unfortunately, Milla’s appearance in the film is rather brief, but its always good to see new footage of vintage Milla.

As usual, kindly do not redistribute these Milla Fan exclusive captures to/at other Milla fan sites. Thank you. Next up for capping is He Got Game! ;)

More screen captures today, as promised. I’ve just added 877 screen captures of Milla as Leeloo in Luc Besson’s Sci-Fi cult hit The Fifth Element (1997), co-starring Bruce Willis, Gary Oldman, Ian Holm and Chris Tucker + hundreds of screen captures of the DVD extras, bringing the gallery up to over 22,000 photos!

I still have two more films to cap before I’m done for the time being, but enjoy these caps in the meantime. As always, kindly do not redistribute these caps to/at other Milla fan sites. Thank you.

I’ve just added 731 screen caps of Milla as Fangora in Greg Pritikin’s drama comedy Dummy (2002), co-starring Adrien Brody, Vera Farmiga, Illeana Douglas and Jessica Walters. It’s a terribly funny film, by the way, and Milla pulls off an excellent performance as Fangora.

Please keep in mind that these captures were obtained exclusive for Milla Fan – kindly don’t redistribute these to/at another Milla fan site. Thank you. Enjoy the new caps; more coming up later this week!
