Ukrainian-born American beauty Milla Jovovich is an entertainment industry phenomenon. Aside from her onscreen work in films such as The Fifth Element and the Resident Evil-trilogy, Jovovich is also known as one half of fashion design duo Jovovich-Hawk as well as the spokesmodel of cosmetics giant L’Oréal, and in the mid-90’s also established herself a career in music. She is currently the face of Samsonite Black Label and Chilean department store Paris and can next be seen in thrillers The 4th Kind and A Perfect Getaway, due out in 2009.

‘Resident Evil: Extinction’ on DVD January 1, 2008!

Apologies for the delay in the launch of the new version - it will be launched this weekend. Will. So help me God. ;) I only have some filmography pages to work on and a layout to finish. I have been working hard on revamping another site of mine dedicated to Chloë Sevigny, hence the delay.

Moving on to today’s update. Monsters & Critics reports the Resident Evil: Extinction Region 1 i.e. North American DVD will be released on January 1, 2008! The film will be released on Widescreen Special Edition DVD as well as Blu-Ray High-Def DVD. Here are some of their special features:

• Sneak Peek at Resident Evil: Degeneration, the first Resident Evil CGI feature film
• Filmmakers’ Commentary
• Making-Of Featurettes:
• Alice Vision: Preproduction
• The Big Bang: Shooting Resident Evil: Extinction
• Bigger, Faster, Stronger: The Undead Evolve
• Vegas Visual Effects: Miniatures

These features can be found on both DVDs, however the Blu-Ray Disc contains some additional features - go to Monsters & Critics for details. As soon as the film gets a Region 2/European DVD release date, I’ll be sure to let you know (as well as buy the DVD myself for capping).
