A lovely Milla is currently gracing the cover of the December 2007 issue of Psychologies, British edition! Those who have roamed through our collection of photoshoots will know that the photos in the issue are not new, but belong to this lovely set. The interview, however, is fresh, and excerpts of it can be read at the magazine’s official site. From Psychologies.co.uk:

Psychologies Dec 2007 Cover

You’ve been working since the age of nine. Do you feel that you missed out on a normal childhood?

Well, my mother wanted the best for me and wanted to educate me in anything and everything there was to offer. So every last dollar was spent on lessons – acting, ballet, piano, the whole shooting match. I really felt the pressure of needing to create something to help my family. And then, the fact that I came from Ukraine meant that I just wasn’t the same as the other kids. They called me ‘Commie’ and I did get beaten up and bullied. My mum taught me to take pride in the fact that I wasn’t like anybody else. I really knew I had to achieve something in this world.

The article is actually a bit of an eye-opener for some parts, I’d definitely recommend reading it. I have already acquired my copy of the issue, and scans of the entire article and photos will follow later today.

Update Nov 29: Apologies for the delay, let’s just say me and Photoshop has a bit of a disagreement there. ;) Anyway, I’ve added five high-res scans of Milla’s Psychologies spread to the gallery + a high-res L’Oréal advert. Enjoy, and kindly do not redistribute these scans. Thank you.
