Congratulations, Milla and Paul!

On August 22 2009, Milla Jovovich married longtime fiancé, Resident Evil writer-director Paul W.S. Anderson. The couple met on the set of the 2002 film; their first child, daughter Ever Gabo Anderson, was born November 3 2007. Milla Fan warmly congratulates the happy couple!

Rumor has it that Milla might be starring in another Luc Besson film in the future. According to ChinaDaily.com, Milla and actress Natalie Portman are set to star in an as-of-yet untitled Besson-~~directed~~ produced Korean-French sci-fi thriller. Keep in mind this is only a rumor, though, until an official source confirms or negates it. From ChinaDaily.com:

South Korean actor Dong-Kun Jang will act in the new thriller by French director Luc Besson, the Information Times reported on Wednesday. International stars Natalie Portman and Milla Jovovich are also expected to star in the film.

Set in present-day New York, the film will chronicle subplots triggered by serial killings. Based on an award-winning novel by a South Korean college professor, the Korean-French film, yet to be titled, will start filming in early 2009.

The new film would mark Milla’s third collaboration with director Besson — she previously appeared in starring roles in his films The Fifth Element (1997) and The Messenger: The Story of Joan of Arc (1999). Many thanks to our friends at Adoring Natalie Portman for the heads-up!

Update: I have it on authority that this rumor is not true. Shame, really, but not unexpected.
