Ukrainian-born American beauty Milla Jovovich is an entertainment industry phenomenon. Aside from her onscreen work in films such as The Fifth Element and the Resident Evil-trilogy, Jovovich is also known as one half of fashion design duo Jovovich-Hawk as well as the spokesmodel of cosmetics giant L’Oréal, and in the mid-90’s also established herself a career in music. She is currently the face of Samsonite Black Label and Chilean department store Paris and can next be seen in thrillers The 4th Kind and A Perfect Getaway, due out in 2009.

‘A Perfect Getaway’ trailer to show before MGM’s ‘Valkyrie’

It’s been a while since we last had any (real) news on David Twohy’s honeymoon thriller, A Perfect Getaway, but we have something at last. On his Wordpress blog, Twohy says the film’s trailer might play in theaters before MGM’s Valkyrie! Finally, a trailer to look forward to. Hopefully, one will also surface online soon. From David Twohy’s WordPress blog:

Re APG, working on trailers now and eyeing a mid-March release. Beware that release dates are always provisional with films — another big picture can land on your date, crowd the weekend, and then suddenly you’re eyeing a new date in May. But March looks pretty solid, at least from the vantage of November.

The trailer will likely play on the front of MGM’s Valkyrie, but I’ll let you know when it’s avail on-line.

The less awesome news is that Valkyrie will not premiere in U.S. theaters until December 26 2008. Sigh. Still, something to look forward to.
