Ukrainian-born American actress and model Milla Jovovich is an entertainment industry phenomenon. In addition to starring in films such as The Fifth Element and Resident Evil, Jovovich is a revered fashion icon and designer, and has also made a name for herself as a gifted vocalist and musician. She can next be seen starring in the fact-based thriller The Fourth Kind and the John Curran-directed crime drama, Stone.

Variety (a generally reliable source for movie news) has the scoop on an upcoming thriller from director Marcel Langenegger, Mile Zero, which according to them Milla Jovovich may star in. Hopefully, we’ll have official word on this soon. From Variety: Director Marcel Langenegger has signed on to helm and develop Phoenix Pictures’ thriller Mile Zero as a possible starring vehicle for Milla Jovovich. Phoenix topper Mike Medavoy, Arnie Messer, Brad Fischer and James Vanderbilt will produce, with JC Spink and Chris Bender exec producing. Mile Zero, penned by Holly Brix, centers on a young woman attempting to clear her father’s name in a string of gruesome murders at an Alaskan oil refinery.
