Ukrainian-born American actress and model Milla Jovovich is an entertainment industry phenomenon. In addition to starring in films such as The Fifth Element and Resident Evil, Jovovich is a revered fashion icon and designer, and has also made a name for herself as a gifted vocalist and musician. She can next be seen starring in the fact-based thriller The Fourth Kind and the John Curran-directed crime drama, Stone.

Milla Jovovich stars as Dr. Abigail “Abbey” Tyler in Olatunde Osunsanmi’s fact-based alien encounter-oriented thriller about a series of mysterious disappearances in Nome, Alaska. Out on DVD March 16 2010!

On August 22 2009, Milla Jovovich married longtime fiancé, Resident Evil writer-director Paul W.S. Anderson. The couple met on the set of the 2002 film; their first child, daughter Ever Gabo Anderson, was born November 3 2007. Milla Fan warmly congratulates the happy couple!

Fashionologie reports Milla Jovovich will be attending the “The Model as Muse”-themed 2009 Costume Institute Gala tomorrow, May 4 2009 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. According to the source, Milla will be wearing cult fashion label Marni to the event. As always, check back with us for updates and coverage! Can’t wait, Milla!
