Ukrainian-born American actress and model Milla Jovovich is an entertainment industry phenomenon. Milla Jovovich and family were photographed for the Fall/Winter 2008 issue of Italian magazine, Muse.

Milla Jovovich stars as Dr. Abigail “Abbey” Tyler in Olatunde Osunsanmi’s fact-based alien encounter-oriented thriller about a series of mysterious disappearances in Nome, Alaska. Out on DVD March 16 2010!

Congratulations, Milla and Paul!

On August 22 2009, Milla Jovovich married longtime fiancé, Resident Evil writer-director Paul W.S. Anderson. The couple met on the set of the 2002 film; their first child, daughter Ever Gabo Anderson, was born November 3 2007. Milla Fan warmly congratulates the happy couple!

The people at JoBlo.com have premiered the first promotional poster for Olatunde Osunsanmi’s upcoming UFO thriller, The Fourth Kind, in which Milla Jovovich stars as psychologist Abigail Tyler. Unfortunately, the poster doesn’t feature Milla, but you can nevertheless check it out at our gallery. The Fourth Kind premieres in U.S. theaters November 6 2009.

Speaking of The Fourth Kind, those who wish to catch it already before the November premiere will be interested to know that the film is set to close the Los Angeles-based horror film festival, Screamfest 2009. The festival runs October 16-25, and tickets are available for purchase on their website.

Finally, Splash News reports Milla has arrived in Toronto, Canada for the filming of Resident Evil: Afterlife. As some of you will already know, the film is set to be helmed by Milla’s director-hubby Paul W.S. Anderson. Looks like production’s on schedule!
