Ukrainian-born American actress and model Milla Jovovich is an entertainment industry phenomenon. In addition to starring in films such as The Fifth Element and Resident Evil, Jovovich is a revered fashion icon and designer, and has also made a name for herself as a gifted vocalist and musician. She can next be seen starring in the fact-based thriller The Fourth Kind and the John Curran-directed crime drama, Stone.

Milla Jovovich stars as Dr. Abigail “Abbey” Tyler in Olatunde Osunsanmi’s fact-based alien encounter-oriented thriller about a series of mysterious disappearances in Nome, Alaska. Now in U.S. theaters!

On August 22 2009, Milla Jovovich married longtime fiancé, Resident Evil writer-director Paul W.S. Anderson. The couple met on the set of the 2002 film; their first child, daughter Ever Gabo Anderson, was born November 3 2007. Milla Fan warmly congratulates the happy couple!

As many of you will surely have noticed, Milla Jovovich has been tweeting diligently via her Twitter account @ MillaJovovich. According to Milla, who’s currently filming the upcoming Resident Evil: Afterlife in chilly Toronto, Canada with co-stars Ali Larter and Wentworth Miller as well as director-husband Paul W.S. Anderson, a teaser trailer for the movie might be revealed already January 2010: We started filming on sept. 25 and we wrap around the middle of dec. There will b a teaser trailer in theaters in jan. Is what I just heard. On Twitter, Milla has furthermore been hinting(!) at the possible return of Sienna Guillory as Jill Valentine. Guillory made a debut appearance as the tough-as-nails Jill in Resident Evil: Apocalypse (2004), but reportedly opted not to reprise the role in Resident Evil: Extinction (2007) due to scheduling conflicts. From Twitter: Valentine MAY b back… It looks much more believable now. And I can stop thinking about it. Phew! Also, kasey is NOT the new Jill. Sienna is the ONLY Jill! Jill valentine, undead dogs, tokyo… Do u really think I can give all that away? Oh dude. Both the teaser and Guillory-comeback news are having us super-psyched for Afterlife!
