Another gallery update today! We’ve been looking over our collection of movie pics of Milla Jovovich today, and have updated the gallery with a bunch of new and mostly HQ promotional stills and posters (+ some HQ replacements) from A Perfect Getaway (2009), The Fourth Kind (2009), The Fifth Element (1997), .45 (2006), The Messenger: The Story of Joan of Arc (1999) and Resident Evil: Apocalypse (2004). We also uploaded today some 20 HQs from a 2000 event we’d forgotten to add yesterday. Although this isn’t a particularly big update per se, many of the pictures we’ve uploaded today are rare and likely new to many. Have a look for yourself!

More HD caps! Today, we’ve replaced our earlier medium-res caps of Milla Jovovich in A Perfect Getaway with 1,512 site-exclusive Blu-Ray HD screen captures. As most of you will know, Milla appears in the David Twohy-directed Hawaiian thriller as honeymooner Cydney Anderson opposite Timothy Olyphant, Kiele Sanchez and Steve Zahn. The new caps are of extremely high quality (if about 100 less in numbers than before) and took a lot of time to obtain, so we do hope you enjoy them!

Personally, I’ve seen this film about five times now, and love it more and more with every watch. Although not as unpredictable as the promotional material wanted to suggest, the disappointment there is made up for in the outstanding performances from all the key players, the fun, warm and down-to-earth writing and breathtaking scenery. A shamelessly underrated film, and definitely worth a watch if thriller is a genre to your liking.

As many of you will know, the David Twohy-directed Hawaiian honeymoon thriller A Perfect Getaway, in which Milla Jovovich stars as honeymooner Cydney opposite Steve Zahn, Kiele Sanchez and Timothy Olyphant, was released on Region 1/North American DVD and Blu-Ray on December 29 2009. Today, we’ve updated the gallery with 1,594 site-exclusive first screen captures of Milla in the film. We’ll of course replace them with DVD quality ones as soon as we are able to do so.

Personally, I quite enjoyed the majority of the film. Although the ending doesnt quit keep it together, it’s made up for in some excellent acting performances from all of the cast, Milla Jovovich included. The scenery is amazing, and although Milla has perhaps the least interesting character of the four key players, she definitely delivers in her role of Cydney. Although I didn’t find the story quite as unpredictable as the promotional material for the film would allow, it’s still def. worth a watch for the acting performances and landscapes alone. Also, the Director’s Cut is definitely worth checking out as I, for one, liked it a lot better than the theatrical version, and it features some really great additional footage of Milla in the film.

Don’t forget the get your copy of A Perfect Getaway, the David Twohy-directed Hawaiian honeymoon thriller in which Milla Jovovich stars as Cydney opposite Steve Zahn, Kiele Sanchez and Timothy Olyphant. The film, released in U.S. theaters on August 7 2009, is now available on Region 1/North American DVD and Blu-Ray! The A Perfect Getaway discs are available for purchase at e.g. Amazon.com, at $17.99 for the DVD and $26.99 for the Blu-Ray.

Unfortunately, European fans of Milla will have to wait until January 18 2010 for a Region 2 release of the film. Both the DVD and Blu-Ray are available for pre-order at Amazon.co.uk. Earlier this month we reported of the Region 2/European DVD and Blu-Ray release for David Twohy’s Hawaiian honeymoon thriller, A Perfect Getaway, in which Milla Jovovich stars as Cydney Anderson opposite Steve Zahn, Timothy Olyphant and Kiele Sanchez. We now have an update on the film’s Region 1/North American DVD release as well!

ShockTillYouDrop.com reports A Perfect Getaway will be released on Region 1 DVD and Blu-Ray on December 29 2009! According to the source, in addition to the theatrical version of the film, an “Unrated Director’s Cut” of the film will be released, which features 10 minutes of additional footage. Further special DVD features remain to be announced. Check out the DVD cover art at our gallery! Pretty good, no?

According to LoveFilm.com, David Twohy’s Hawaiian honeymoon thriller A Perfect Getaway, starring Milla Jovovich opposite Timothy Olyphant, Steve Zahn and Kiele Sanchez, will be released on Region 2/European DVD and Blu-Ray January 25 2010. Meanwhile, according to UK Amazon the film’s R2 DVD and Blu-Ray release is dated January 11 2010. While we’ve yet to find additional sources confirming either release date, January sounds pretty realistic to us. As of yet, however, we have no information on a Region 1/North American release.

LoveFilm.com furthermore reports the film’s Blu-Ray release is 1h 37 min long — four minutes longer than the DVD version. It would seem Blu-Ray users can look forward to new footage.
