io9 recently talked Resident Evil 4 with Resident Evil (2002) writer-director (and Milla’s fiancé) Paul W.S. Anderson, who says Milla is interested in reprising the role of Alice in another Resident Evil installment. Anderson is currently in talks with Sony about a possible fourth film. From io9:
io9: Are we going to see an army of Alices?
Anderson: We’re in very early discussions about all of it, so it’s not a definite thing by any means. Milla would like to return, and I would certainly like to see the franchise continue. Last year there were, I think, eight ‘threequels’ got released. — There were only two [movies last year] where the third movie did better than the second movie. That was Bourne Ultimatum and Resident Evil. So, you know, it is quite an achievement for a franchise to keep growing like that, and we all feel that the audience is excited to see another one clearly. We would like, if we could put it together, we would do it.
io9: Right, but hypothetically how would you go about using all of those Alices?
Anderson: I’m not going to tell you that. [laughs]… but we would.
io9: You would?
Anderson: We would, yes. Absolutely.
If you’re interested in Anderson’s latest doings, his latest movie Death Race will open in cinemas on Thursday. Check out Star Online’s interview with Anderson for details and an interview, in which he also briefly touches on the topic of daughter Ever. Resident Evil writer-director and Milla’s fiancé Paul W.S. Anderson recently discussed the possibility of a fourth installment in the Resident Evil film franchise with MTV:
Resident Evil: Extinction, the third video-game to big screen adaptation in the popular series will likely not be the last, Anderson said, although talks for a fourth film are still in the very earliest stages of development. “I’m just starting to talk to Sony about it,” Anderson confessed. “I don’t even know if anything will come of it, but there’s a possibility it might happen.”
It would seem like a sure thing given the ending of Extinction, which saw Alice (Milla Jovovich) beside herself with rage — literally, thanks to hundreds of perfect clones - promising to travel to the Umbrella Corporation’s headquarters in Japan. But Anderson, who scripted the first three films, says a concrete story hasn’t yet been decided upon. In fact, it’s coming up with a plausible, kick-ass story that’s momentarily holding him up.
“I love the Resident Evil franchise and we always try to make the best possible movie we can. If we could find a good Resident Evil 4 to make, then we would do it,” he said. “But I wouldn’t just do it for the sake of it, that’s for sure.”

Once again, thanks to our lovely regular contributor Liz I can present you with some new Milla photos. I just added over 90 awesome screen captures of Milla as Alice in Resident Evil: Extinction deleted scenes (+ three caps of the film’s end credits). There were five deleted scenes in total, and although the caps are all in one album, they have been named according to the scene they belong to.
Click on the below preview to access the new screen captures, and many thanks to Liz for sending them in! Once again, I would like to remind all of you that these caps were made exclusively for Milla Fan, and thus I would kindly ask you not to redistribute them to or at another Milla website. Thank you.
Finally, if anyone is able to send in Resident Evil: Extinction clips, whether they be from the actual film, deleted scenes, featurette(s) or whatnot, please get in touch! The video format is of little consequence as I have a pretty powerful conversion tool at my disposal. You will, of course, be credited for your work. Thank you!

As you probably already know, Resident Evil: Extinction was released on Region 1 DVD on January 1 2008, and I’m now able to present you with 1137 screen captures of Milla Jovovich as the iconic Alice in this final installment in the series (well, excluding the upcoming Resident Evil CGI film) thanks to our ever fabulous contributors Liz and Kate of ResidentEvilMovies.net! Please be advised, however, that the captures contain major spoilers regarding the film and its outcome.
The caps are - mostly - gore-free for our more sensitive visitors, but I might chuck in any missing footage later on. Nevertheless, I would kindly ask you not to redistribute these caps at another Milla website - they’ve been obtained exclusively for Milla Fan. Thank you, and do enjoy these fabulous new captures. Our gallery now features well over 25,000 Milla photos!
Ooh, and if you enjoyed the film, don’t forget to join the TFL-approved Resident Evil: Extinction fanlisting!
