Last May we reported that Milla Jovovich was featured in an article called “Stylish Thinking” in the June 2010 issue of UK Elle. Well, looks like that article has now been reprinted for the September issue of Canadian Elle, and thanks to Mirik we’ve been able to update the gallery with a hi-res scan of it. You’ll notice Milla is carrying the Tommy Hilfiger Breast Health International bag in the (new) picture. Thanks again to Mirik for sending in the scan!

Earlier this week, Milla Jovovich announced via her Twitter account @MillaJovovich that she’ll be auctioning off a white Isabel Marant top/dress that Milla herself has customized with scribblings and a sown-in Isabel Marant necklace. The auction, from which all proceeds will go to Artists for Peace and Justice via Crafts for a Cause, will run until March 27 — you still have a good four days left to bid.

Bidding for the dress is currently open at BiddingForGood.com. As the current winning bid after 23 bids is $430, the minimum bid is now at $445. Please note that the dress is a size S (small). A word from Milla about the dress via BiddingForGood.com:

“i LOVED making this piece so much! the first pic was taken on the night that i started writing on the dress with only a ballpoint pen to work with, which was rather frustrating as the pen hardly showed up at all. but i wanted to at least post a pic of the “first step” and show everyone that i really wanted to add my time and support to this uncannily interesting project (and cheeky too! wink wink Binki!) to help raise money for haitian relief through artists for peace and justice. the t shirt/dress was made by one of my FAVORITE designers; Isabel Marant. I have used lyrics from songs that i wrote to draw all over the dress and the words wrap around to the back. i have sewn a necklace (also designed by Isabel Marant) unto the neckline of the dress. It’s such a gorgeous piece of jewelry, geometric shape with a sort of cleopatra-ish vibe going on at the same time. Big, big update from last Thursday’s Tommy Hilfiger Breast Health International Limited Edition Bag Madrid Launch today!

First off, we have a few reports from the event. Interesting report #1 from ThinkSpain.com:

Actress and model Milla Jovovich presented the latest Tommy Hilfiger handbag in Madrid this week, the sales of which will fund cancer care. Having lost some female friends to the disease, it is a cause very close to Milla’s heart.

The Ukraine-born star is taking a couple of years off from her fast-paced career to care for the her daughter, Ever, two-and-a-half, after finishing filming her latest movie, Dirty Girl, with Juno Temple and William H. Macy and the next one she has lined up, the thriller Faces in the Crowd, which will be ready by July. She has already filmed Resident Evil: Afterlife, the fourth in the saga, which will be in the cinemas in September. [...] And in October, her recent work, Stone, in which she co-stars with Robert de Niro and Edward Norton, will be premiered. “It’s been a crazy year,” Milla told reporters in Madrid.

She says Spain is one of her favourite countries and Madrid is becoming an ‘emerging fashion capital’. Although Milla was born in Ukraine, she considers Los Angeles, where she lives with her husband, mother and daughter, to be her true home.

“I’ve been lucky to be able to forge a professional career doing what I most love,” revealed Milla. “I’ve always worked to improve what I do every day. I don’t know whether I’m an example of that, but I certainly adore my work,” the screen-star and model told reporters.

Earlier today, Milla Jovovich attended the third scheduled European Tommy Hilfiger Breast Health International Limited Edition Bag Launch event and signing session, this time in Madrid, Spain. As we reported she would be last week, Milla Jovovich was indeed in attendance at yesterday’s Tommy Hilfiger BHI Limited Edition Bag Launch in Milan, Italy. As always, Milla looked nothing short of lovely in a flowy black cocktail dress, even though she later tweeted via her Twitter account @MillaJovovich that she is feeling sickly. Ahoy, European fans! Earlier this month, we reported of a launch event for the fourth Tommy Hilfiger Breast Health International Limited Edition bag to be held in Milan, Italy on March 2. According to the event’s Facebook page, Milla Jovovich as the latest ambassador for the charity initiative is expected to attend a signing session at the event.

Recently, the Tommy Hilfiger Facebook page was updated with two additional, similar launch events in Madrid, Spain and Amsterdam, The Netherlands respectively. According to the events’ respective Facebook pages, Milla is scheduled to attend signing sessions at both venues.
