New medium-res Derimod advertisement outtakes

The website for Turkish clothing company Derimod has been updated with new photos as well as an English-language section. Milla graces their Fall-Winter 2008-2009 advertisement campaign, and four new medium-res photos from the campaign have been uploaded to the gallery. Aren’t they gorgeous? Enjoy. Brand new medium-res photoshoot outtakes

I meant to post these tomorrow, actually, but I simply couldn’t wait until then. I’ve just updated the gallery with 32 absolutely stunning site-exclusive medium-res photoshoot outtakes from a brand new and neverbeforeseen shoot, evidently shot some time this year (possibly around the time of the Cannes Film Festival in May, as I recognize one of the dresses as the same she wore to the Cannes ‘Palermo Shooting’ Premiere). Aren’t these simply amazing? Personally, my jaw dropped to the floor when I discovered this shoot. Enjoy the new photos.

2008 Spike TV Scream Awards video and photos

More of Milla at last Saturday’s 2008 Spike TV Scream Awards! Spike.com have posted a fabulous video clip of Milla accepting the award for Best Actress in a Science Fiction Movie or TV show for her portrayal of Alice in Resident Evil: Extinction, and I highly recommend checking it out — there are some priceless Milla moments. She drops the f-bomb! Awesome. As always, the video will soon be made available for download at our video archive.

The gallery has furthermore been updated with roughly 30 new medium- and hi-res photos of a lovely Milla and Resident Evil director-fiancé Paul W.S. Milla wins Best Sci-Fi Actress Scream Award!

The 2008 Spike TV Scream Awards were held yesterday in Los Angeles, California and, as reported earlier, Milla was there to attend the event. The taped event will be televised on October 21 on Spike TV. If anyone is able to record the event for us, please do not hesitate to get in touch! Thank you.

Yesterday, Milla showed up at the event in a stunning black, ruffled, strapless mini which I think I recognize from her May 2008 Cannes Film Festival Dior Party appearance. Resident Evil director-fiancé Paul W.S. Anderson was also present and accompanied Milla to the event red carpet. The first 74 100 medium- and hi-res photos of a lovely Milla and Paul at the event have been added to the gallery, with many more surely coming soon. Stay tuned!

Further into the event, Milla went on to accept the award for Best Actress (Science Fiction) for her portrayal of Alice in Resident Evil: Extinction, beating to the punch such names as Summer Glau, Tricia Helfer, Lena Headey and Gwyneth Paltrow. The award was presented to her by director-musician Rob Zombie. Good going, voters! Resident Evil: Extinction was also nominated for Best Sequel, however the award went to Christopher Nolan’s Batman Begins-sequel, The Dark Knight. Congratulations on the award, Milla!

2008 Spike TV Scream Awards reminder

Don’t forget the 2008 Spike TV Scream Awards will be taped today, October 18 at The Greek Theater in Los Angeles, California, where Milla Jovovich and Resident Evil: Extinction are nominated for Best Actress (Science Fiction) and Best Sequel respectively; voting, however, is closed as of yesterday. Milla is expected to attend the event, so please check back with us for updates and media!

Milla to attend 2008 Spike TV Scream Awards

Fantastic news, everyone! According to Spike TV’s press release, Milla will be making an appearance at the 2008 Spike TV Scream Awards on October 18! Many thanks to Dale for the heads-up! From the Spike TV press release, via SuperHeroHype.com:

Additionally, Spike TV has announced fresh talent added to this year’s star-studded roster. Appearing at “SCREAM 2008″ will be Malin Akerman, Selma Blair, Jon Favreau, Michael C. Hall and the cast of “Dexter,” Milla Jovovich, Jaime King, Frank Miller and Paz Vega, along with previously announced talent Kristen Bell, Julie Benz, Darren Lynn Bousman, Thomas Dekker, Guillermo Del Toro, Summer Glau, Samuel L. Jackson, Doug Jones, Kerli, Stan Lee, The Osbournes, Jared Padelecki, Ron Perlman, Amanda Righetti, Seth Rogen, Paul Rudd, Seann William Scott, Kevin Smith, Liv Tyler, Gerard Way and Rob Zombie. Many more to be announced shortly.

The third annual televised event tapes Saturday, October 18 at The Greek Theater in Los Angeles, CA and premieres Tuesday, October 21 (9:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on Spike TV.

Milla is the new face of Derimod

Great news, everyone! It would seem Chilean department store Paris is not the only company Milla is fronting this year, as new photos of Milla appearing in the Fall/Winter 2008-2009 campaign of Turkish clothing company Derimod have surfaced online.

As of yet, I don’t have a lot of information to share with you on the company or Milla’s involvement in their newest ad campaign. However, Hurriyet.com.tr has what looks like a Turkish-language article on Milla alongside the first photos from the Fall/Winter campaign — if anyone would be willing to translate the article for us, please get in touch!
