No, there seems to be no end to our server troubles. Milla Fan will soon be switching to a new hosting provider, so look forward to another server move, and possibly some downtime. Although you will still be able to access the site at the same address as before, no new content will be added to the site until the move is complete. Please be patient, as I’m trying my best to provide you with the best service I can, and this move is quite necessary for me to be able to do so. Thank you!

Just a quick heads-up to everyone that I’ve now successfully restored all of the new L’Oréal, Paris and 2008 Cannes Film Festival media and Milla fan art which we lost in the recent server crash. Obviously, the actual updates are beyond restoration, but the material itself has been re-uploaded. Check them all out at our gallery and media archive! I still have 1700+ .45 screen captures left to re-add, and will do so soon with a bunch of brand new video clips of Milla in the film. Stay tuned!

I’m in the process of re-uploading the material posted in June, which we lost in the recent, unexpected server crash. These include the L’Oréal-media, Cannes Film Festival-videos, .45 footage, various livejournal icons, Paris ad campaign photos, and June’s most significant Milla news. Please be patient with me! As I’m sure many of you noticed, we recently experienced several days of server downtime, which could’ve ended much worse than it did. Unfortunately, because the server crashed, we’ve lost a lot of our recent content additions and updates (most of June’s site changes, really), which will take a while to recollect. If anyone has e.g. the recently posted L’Oréal photos (scans, caps), Paris outtakes or Cannes videos I’d posted on the site saved on their hard drive, please consider sending them in. It would save me a lot of time and effort. Thank you.

Apologies for the recent delay in updates; news on Milla is scarce right now, and I will be out of town without a solid internet connection until mid-June, which makes updating rather difficult for me. Please be patient with me. Thank you.

To make up for the slow updates I do have a small treat for you today. The ever wonderful Dale has once again bestowed us with some fabulous hi-res scans; 6 hi-res scans of Milla’s German Vogue May 1997 and 9 hi-res scans of her Mixte Fall/Winter 1996-1997 editorials. As I’m sure you all have noticed, we are once again experiencing some technical difficulties. Don’t be surprised if you see the “suspended” page again, as we are still working on solving the problem. We’re not going anywhere, though! Yet. ;)

Well, a month-long hiatus was not exactly what I had in mind when I decided to move Milla Fan, but here we are. Milla Fan has finally been relaunched, with most of our material (hopefully!) restored on the new server. Many thanks to Gertie, the site is now hosted at Fan-Sites.org (hence the ads)!

As you can see, we have a new design as well a bit of a new setup. Well, sort of. The media archive is up and running, now with video downloads available once more. I have lots of new videos to add, so stay tuned. The gallery, now located at a slightly changed URL, has received a complete overhaul - I’m sure you’ll notice at least some of the changes without me having to list them here. At any rate, the gallery now features over 29,000 Milla Jovovich photos. Furthermore, I have launched a small press archive, which will be periodically updated with new Milla articles.

Although I have tried my best to restore the site in its entirety, broken links and such are sure to appear. Please be patient with me as I roam through all the pages for 404 errors, bugs and script boos. Thank you. Enjoy browsing the “new” site!
