Today’s update I’m afraid has nothing to do with Milla Jovovich, but rather a new site I have recently launched. Please excuse me while I indulge myself for just a moment.

I’d just like to point you in the direction of David Wenham News, a brand new news- and mediablog dedicated to the extraordinary Australian actor David Wenham, perhaps best known internationally for his portrayal of Faramir in the critically acclaimed Lord of the Rings-sequels, The Two Towers and The Return of the King. More recently, David has appeared in films such as 300, Public Enemies and Pope Joan. David Wenham News is a humble tribute to the actor and his career.

Well, folks, it’s that time of the year again. I will be out of town and out of reach 19.-26.12.2009, throughout which Milla Fan will not be updated. We’ll furthermore be unable to read or respond to email sent to us in this time. We’ll be sure update the site with all the news and media we’ve missed during this period of time once we return + some very special extra goodies we have in store for you guys. Stay with us!

ATTENTION: Please note that the gallery & media archive will be closed for unregistered users throughout this time. Registration is also not available in this time. Only previously registered gallery/media archive users will be able to access the aforementioned sections, by logging in. Please do not email us with questions regarding registration or access in this time, as such emails will be ignored. Welcome back to Milla Fan, version 12, y’all! It’s been a long time coming, but we’ve finally(!) done a mini revamp on the site, which we hope you’ll be pleased with.

Aside from the obvious — a new layout (but we’ll come to that later) — our various information sections have received quite an overhaul. Many sections have been in part, if not completely, rewritten, and all Milla Jovovich-information has been brought up-to-date. Furthermore, information pages such as our Biography and Jovovich-Hawk-pages are now better sourced for increased factual accuracy, while certain less significant (and poorly updated) pages have been removed altogether. Less is more, as they say! However, we weren’t quite able to finish what we started, so some unupdated pages have been taken down and marked as “coming soon”. They will be back, though. Soon-ish…

We’ve also made some minor structural improvements to our pages so as to add to the user-friendliness and accessibility of the site, and have proofread (most of) the content for spelling mistakes and dead links. The Press Archive remains down for the time being, as it is undergoing a (considerable) revamp of its own, however we’ll be sure to let you know once it is again accessible.

Finally, we have a new design, courtesy of yours truly. With the previous, A Perfect Getaway-themed layout having been so dark and with Fall weather being upon us, we thought we’d rebel a little and put up a brighter, Spring-y, pastel-colored layout. The photo of Milla used in the main graphic originates from her Muse (It) issue #16 shoot from 2008. As always, the gallery and media archive will soon be incorporated into the new design.

Welcome to Milla Fan, version 11, y’all! To celebrate and promote the upcoming release of David Twohy’s A Perfect Getaway, in which Milla Jovovich stars opposite Steve Zahn, Kiele Sanchez and Timothy Olyphant, Milla Fan has been updated with a brand spanking new, Cydney-themed design. Also, I was bored to the death with previous look, and wanted to make something a little different for the Summer. I hope you like it!

As almost always with our designs, this one isn’t too friendly on slower connections either. Sorry! This layout has been tested for functionality in Safari 3 (Mac), Firefox 3 (Mac/Windows XP) and Internet Explorer 6 (Windows XP). The gallery and media archive will soon be incorporated into this design.

Well, July’s up ahead, and Milla Fan will soon be celebrating its 3rd anniversary. It’s been a while since we last updated our various info-sections, so updating all pages with the most recent available information will be a priority throughout the month. And of course, we’ll be keeping you posted on any and all Milla-related news, including the upcoming August 14 2009 A Perfect Getaway U.S. premiere. Do keep checking back!

We’re back, y’all! Our technical difficulties have all been resolved, and regular updates will now resume. Our apologies for the delay in updates — we assure it was as incovenient for us at it was for you. However, to make up for the absence of updates (thankfully for us, there hasn’t been any news on Milla to report in the mean time), we’ll be posting some real special media treats on the site throughout the coming week! Speaking of news, though, last Tuesday, April 28 2009, Milla Jovovich and Resident Evil director-fiancé Paul W.S. Anderson were photographed attending the LG “Rumorous Nights” Launch Party Hosted by Heidi Klum in West Hollywood, CA. Aww, isn’t it lovely to see the two of them together? The gallery has been updated with 92 medium- and hi-res photos of the lovely Milla and Paul at the event — as always, more photos will be added as they are found. Enjoy!

Just a quick heads-up to y’all that site updates here at Milla Fan will in all likelihood be delayed until further notice due to technical complications at our end. We’re doing our best to patch things up, but until then updating, particularly with new media, will be difficult, as will reading and responding to new emails. We’ll of course be doing our best to keep you updated, particularly with any major news on Milla should such surface, however don’t be surprised if we’re not quite as up to speed as usual.
