As I’m sure you all have noticed, we are once again experiencing some technical difficulties. Don’t be surprised if you see the “suspended” page again, as we are still working on solving the problem. We’re not going anywhere, though! Yet. ;)

Well, a month-long hiatus was not exactly what I had in mind when I decided to move Milla Fan, but here we are. Milla Fan has finally been relaunched, with most of our material (hopefully!) restored on the new server. Many thanks to Gertie, the site is now hosted at Fan-Sites.org (hence the ads)!

As you can see, we have a new design as well a bit of a new setup. Well, sort of. The media archive is up and running, now with video downloads available once more. I have lots of new videos to add, so stay tuned. The gallery, now located at a slightly changed URL, has received a complete overhaul - I’m sure you’ll notice at least some of the changes without me having to list them here. At any rate, the gallery now features over 29,000 Milla Jovovich photos. Furthermore, I have launched a small press archive, which will be periodically updated with new Milla articles.

Although I have tried my best to restore the site in its entirety, broken links and such are sure to appear. Please be patient with me as I roam through all the pages for 404 errors, bugs and script boos. Thank you. Enjoy browsing the “new” site!

I’m sure many noticed the recent server downtime. This was once again caused by excessive video downloads, and it’s a problem I can no longer ignore; on the one hand I simply can’t have the site go down for days at random, and on the other I don’t want to let go of the video archive, which I’m sure is something I’m not alone on.

Thus, I will soon be moving to a new host, and hopefully this will resolve our bandwidth issues. Meanwhile, I will temporarily close the video archive until the move is complete, as I cannot have the site go down another time in the middle of the backup process. The video archive will once again be re-opened once the entire site has been successfully moved to the new server. I’m sure you understand. Thank you.

Things continue to be quiet with Milla; I do have some things to update with, thanks to many lovely contributors who have sent in Milla media, but I’m a tad busy with another site of mine at the moment, so I’ll be holding onto them a little longer yet.

Hello everyone! I am back from my week of offline-ness and out of town-ness, and am pleased to inform you that gallery and media archive registrations are once again open for one and all! My apologies for any inconvenience the temporary closure of the registration forms may have caused, but I can assure it was a necessary evil. Just go to the gallery or media archive and you’ll now again find a “Register” link in the navigation.

Anyway, with a week’s delay in updates there is some Milla news to cover this weekend, but more on that later. However, to make up for my absence I promise to have something special for you on New Year’s Eve, so be sure to check back on Monday for a surprise Milla treat. ;) Catch you later!

As I’m sure some of you noticed, Milla Fan was down for half a day starting yesterday. This was because recent video downloads had garnered unexpected bandwidth, and over 2 GB of bandwidth was consumed in just one hour. If this problem persists, I will be forced to move the site elsewhere where bandwidth is less of an issue, which is why I would like to kindly ask you to cut down the frequent downloading a little; I like my ad-free hosting, as I’m sure you do too. YouTube is not an option I’m willing to consider for a number of reasons. Also, if you are hotlinking to any of our videos (which would explain why Coppermine is being so slow at counting file views) - please don’t.

As a preventive method, I have now made the video archive available for registered members only. Unlogged users will still be able to view the non-video downloads available at our media archive, but you need to register a username and login in order to view the video downloads. My apologies for the inconvenience. Again, if you are hotlinking to any of our videos, please don’t. Similarly, if you find someone hotlinking to the videos at our Media Archive, please let me know, and I will deal with the matter immediately. Thank you.
