A second Resident Evil: Afterlife behind-the-scenes featurette has found its way online, and it’s at least as much loaded with Awesome as the first; several new glimpses of the film, footage from the set and interview segments with writer-director Paul W.S. “It’s just something I don’t even wanna think about, but it was one of the most challenging parts of the film for me, to actually put myself in the position of a mother who loses her child. I’ve never been through something like that as an actress. Of course, in the one sense, what attracted me to the character was delving into places that I would never wanna go, but at the same time I felt like that’s why I need to do it, because it’s frightening. Shockingly, we have an update that hasn’t got to do with Afterlife today (as well), because we’ve just stumbled on this great two-part video interview with Milla Jovovich from last year, promoting Olatunde Osunsanmi’s The Fourth Kind in Japan. Although the questions are in Japanese, Milla answers them in English and in great detail, shedding a lot of light on the film and how it came about.
