A second Resident Evil: Afterlife behind-the-scenes featurette has found its way online, and it’s at least as much loaded with Awesome as the first; several new glimpses of the film, footage from the set and interview segments with writer-director Paul W.S. Anderson, stars Milla Jovovich, Ali Larter and Boris Kodjoe and others. Please be advised, though, that the clip is mildly spoiler-y. Courtesy of Ultimate-RE.com:

Update: As always, we’ve updated the gallery with some 80 1080p HD screen captures of Milla in this video. Be sure to check them out!

“It’s just something I don’t even wanna think about, but it was one of the most challenging parts of the film for me, to actually put myself in the position of a mother who loses her child. I’ve never been through something like that as an actress. Of course, in the one sense, what attracted me to the character was delving into places that I would never wanna go, but at the same time I felt like that’s why I need to do it, because it’s frightening. I don’t know if I’d ever wanna do it again.”
- Milla Jovovich

Shockingly, we have an update that hasn’t got to do with Afterlife today (as well), because we’ve just stumbled on this great two-part video interview with Milla Jovovich from last year, promoting Olatunde Osunsanmi’s The Fourth Kind in Japan. Although the questions are in Japanese, Milla answers them in English and in great detail, shedding a lot of light on the film and how it came about.

A slightly random pic update today. First, we have some 20 new photos from the set of Milla Jovovich’s international ad campaign for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2011, as photographed by Miles Aldridge. There are some really great shots of Milla on the set among these new ones, so be sure to have a look.

Secondly, we’ve updated the gallery with screen captures of Milla as Alice in the three new clips from Resident Evil: Afterlife that surfaced online recently. We unfortunately weren’t able to find the third clip in HD yet, however the caps from the other two are in 1080p HD quality. Hope you like them!

Check out these first four medium-res photos of Milla Jovovich partaking in the Resident Evil: Afterlife Live 3D Press Conference for the Spanish media in Madrid, Spain earlier today, as broadcast from Los Angeles, CA, USA (they’re really pulling out all the stops with the 3D stuff, aren’t they?). Milla looked absolutely adorable at the conference in a sheer, loose-fitting tee and a head accessory that we think is some kind of a wreath. We’re of course looking for more pictures from this event, so please check back with us for updates. Meanwhile, check out the first four pics at our gallery.
