The Milla Fan Gossip & Candid Policy we adhere to.
Although it may be a fair argument to say that those who choose the limelight of celebrity also choose to have every aspect of their life scrutinized in the media, we here at Milla Fan have assumed an alternative stance. We believe that being a public figure should not have to include a surrender of your privacy to the tabloid industry, and Milla Fan wants to encourage this approach to celebrity with our Gossip & Candid Policy.
Although Milla Jovovich has scarcely ever been seen aggressively battling the paparazzi (unlike so many of her contemporaries), she has on occasion expressed her discomfort at being photographed in her private life, and has been particularly averse to candid photos of her daughter Ever.
To most effectively respect Milla, Paul and Ever’s privacy, we at Milla Fan have decided never to post any unauthorized private candids of either of them on the site. This includes photography of Milla et al. e.g. shopping, dining, driving and leaving their home. We consider such material “stalkerazzi” and is something we do not wish to encourage. (Please note that this does not include “on set”-footage from the set of a photoshoot or film, which we do post on occasion, provided a) it is relevant, newsworthy footage, and b) Milla is not notably uncomfortable being photographed in said footage.)
We furthermore stay away from any and all unconfirmed (malicious) gossip related to Milla Jovovich and/or her family. Whenever news on developments in her personal life is posted on the site, it is only for information purposes, not to spread a rumor, which is why we do not report on such developments until such are officially confirmed, via e.g. Milla’s official site. This not only adds to her privacy, but also reduces misinformation and misunderstandings.
Milla Fan is aimed at like-minded fans of Milla Jovovich and her work, who are interested in following her career and supporting her. We furthermore believe that said support includes not stalking her every move. We take pride in being stalkerazzi-free, and encourage all fans of Milla to leave her private life to those who belong to it. Thank you.
